Being “green” is not just a phase for J-C Press
Posted Thursday, August 14th, 2008 in Off the PressConserving resources, preventing pollution, and minimizing waste are not new concepts for J-C Press. Just as we have a long history of quality and craftsmanship, we also take pride in having a long history of following environmentally sound practices. As a charter member of the Minnesota Great Printer Initiative-founded by the Print Industry of Minnesota over ten years ago-we are committed to minimizing our impact on the environment. Recently we furthered this commitment by achieving Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Rainforest Alliance (RAC) certification. These “sustainable” certifications recognize that we support responsible forest management and meet strict environmental standards. Here at J-C Press, we believe it is possible to be kind to the environment and still provide clients with the highest quality printing possible.
